This is something so simple yet so royal! It’s a vitamin A and C loaded dip/ accompaniment which combines sweet spicy tangy favours. Its super quick to make and most ingredients are always there in your fridge. Much better than the mayo, cheesy n other fatty dips for your crackers and chips. Impress your guests with this gourmet looking but easy recipe!

Ingredients for making 1 bowl dip

  • Ripe Hapus (Alphonso) Mango- 1- 1.5 (dep on size): diced
  • Tomato- 1 medium: diced ( de seeded)
  • Green Capsicum- 1/2 medium: diced
  • White onion- 1 small: diced
  • Coriander leaves- 2 tsp
  • Green chilli- 1 small finely chopped ( de seeded)
  • Lemon juice- 2 tsp
  • Salt- as per taste

Method

  • Mix the mango and tomato- slightly mash with back of spoon in a bowl.
  • Mix all the other ingredients, add salt, lemon juice.
  • And Voila! Its Ready.
  • Serve chilled with khakhras, baked chips, crackers.

Tips

  • Sweet Peppers and cucumbers diced can be added.
  • Make about 20-30 mins before serving so flavours blend yet nutrients not lost much.
  • Chill all the ingredients before dicing.
  • If you like your salsa non juicy, do not mash the mango n tomato.
